WOMEN IN BUSINESS: Kylie Jenner, where the Sun-Saturn trine brings staying power

Kylie Jenner. A polarizing individual that has many people loving and worshipping everything she does, just as much as people that dislike her and think she achieved nothing on her own.

One not-so-successful venture of Kylie Jenner is the book she wrote with her sister, Kendall.

A look at her chart will show you why that venture wasn’t successful and people even call the book a flop - Mercury (related to writing) isn’t in a favorable position for her to produce a successful sci-fi novel. While Mercury is in it’s own sign (Virgo), which makes it a strong placement by default, the planet isn’t making any favorable aspects to Uranus or her Aquarius placements which is why her sci-fi novel flopped. Aquarius and Uranus are related to technology and the sci-fi genre, so her Mercury in a quincunx with her Aquarius Jupiter doesn’t set the stage for her to find success in writing/publishing a sci-fi book.

This is because the aspect between her Mercury and Aquarius Jupiter is a minor one and any minor aspect isn’t strong enough to overpower the major ones (conjunction, sextile, trine, square, opposition). If she had a trine between her Mercury and Aquarius placements, her sci-fi book could have been as successful as her cosmetics line, but in this case, with her Mercury-Aquarius Jupiter quincunx, even if the best sci-fi author in the world ghostwrites her book and she just publishes it under her name, it will still be a flop, because her chart doesn’t offer any support in a venture of this kind. Her Mercury is in a sextile with her Scorpio Moon, so if she writes a book about her family, especially one that touches on the secrets of the family and stuff behind the scenes, she has potential for more success.

However, it still probably won’t be as big as her success with her cosmetics company. After all, the trine between her Sun and Saturn would’ve brought her staying power, when she uses her strengths to her advantage.

The Sun can symbolize one’s identity and actions. Saturn can be related to structure, career, business and high positions in society. In a trine, which is the easiest aspect and brings good results seamlessly, these two planets show that Kylie can very easily find success in a business that uses her name and image as the brand. This aspect also shows that a successful avenue for her is a business that creates material things (in this case products) that cater to a person’s vanity and looks. After all, the Sun is ruled by Apollo, a god in Greek and Roman mythology that is considered to be the most beautiful god and even the ideal for male beauty.

Another aspect that is a vehicle for success (both professional and financial) for her is her Venus-Neptune trine. This again shows strength in things that are related to beauty and fashion. In this trine, Venus ensures success and fortune in things related to beauty and fashion, like her make up products, while Neptune shows that should her products enable people to be artistic or alter something in their appearance to create an illusion, Kylie will hit the jackpot, since Neptune is the planet of illusion and make up help you do just that - create the illusion that your face is more sculpted and sharp, that your lips are plumper, that your eyes are bigger or that you don’t have dark circles under your eyes - you name it.

Another aspect that aids her success is her Venus-Mercury conjunction in Virgo. Conjunctions can go both ways, depending on the planets involved, they can be good or bad. In her case, this conjunction is good and brings her good results. It shows that she can get money and success in commerce or the selling of beauty and fashion items, since Mercury is the god of commerce, while Venus - of beauty. These two planets in Virgo, plus her North Node, which points to a person’s destiny, also show that commerce is a strong suit of hers.

Not only is her North Node in Virgo along with Venus and Mercury, but it is also forming a conjunction with both of these planets, which is why the theme of commerce, writing and logistics is so prominent and beneficial for her.

Despite her Virgo North Node pointing that writing may be part of her purpose, her chart doesn’t offer any spectacular support in writing as we already saw. But it does offer her more than brilliant support in selling products, especially when they are beauty or fashion-related.

Whether knowingly or unknowingly, Kylie is using her three best aspects to her advantage. Her Libra MC shows that the professional field she does best in is beauty and fashion, while her Scorpio Moon in her 10th house shows that her family can aid her career or that someone in her family can help her behind the scenes (looking at you, Momager), but it is her leaning into these three strong, positive aspects that has made her business so successful and profitable, because had someone with the same family and position, but a different birth chart tried this, it wouldn’t have worked out so spectacularly for them.

So, if you try to decipher the best career or business venture for yourself, don’t just look at the sign and planets in your 10th house. Instead, focus more heavily on the best aspects in your chart, because that is what will bring you success.
